Budget- You have to know how much you make and how much you spend

Save - You have to have extra money saved in case of emergencies

Work - Do as much as you can to "get it done"

Perservere - Remember that it took you a long time to get in debt, so you will not get debt-free over night

In December of 2010, I set a goal to pay off all my personal credit cards by 11/11/11.

I made it by:

Starting
Paying off the smallest one first
Setting a goal to pay off each one by a certain date
Saying that "I will pay off these credit cards by 11/11/11"
Diligently and consistently focusing on paying off the credit card I was working to pay off
Praying for God's provision
Praising God and Celebrating when I paid off each one
