Happiness is starting to get debt free

I wanted to let you know that I am getting very close to my 11/11/11 date for having all my personal credit cards paid in full!

I started actively attacking my debt on January 1, 2011

I have systematically paid off and paid down 7 credit cards. Three of them are now closed and paid off. My balance is 20% of what it was and I should comfortably make my goal by 11/11/11 or earlier.

There are the things that I have found that really works for me
I wrote down my goal and then said it ten times per day
I set a goal and then put a time limit on it
I started
I paid a little at a time, many payments per month
I started with the smallest balance and paid it off very quickly
I have a savings account that is growing month by month
I set a new target and went for it each time a card was paid off

Here are the ah-ha moments for me

If you speak of things are not, as if they are, they will come true
I am more happy and grateful for what I have
My future is so bright, I gotta wear shades!
I can see my self as rich and prosperous while giving abundantly to others
